Meet Our Team Members
MAKENNA
Makenna graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 2020 and continued her education at Moberly Area Community College, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2023. Later that year, she passed her board exam and earned her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. In her free time you can find her fishing, kayaking, or hunting with her husband. Makenna has been apart of the team since January of 2024 and her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the constant opportunity to learn and grow while helping care for pets and their families.
MARLEY
Marley graduated from Warren County R-III High School in 2020 before attending Midwest Institute, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She passed her board exam and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in June 2023. Outside of work, Marley enjoys hunting, fishing, painting, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. She has been a part of the team since January 2024, and her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping care for pets while supporting the local community.
ALYSSA
Alyssa earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Midwest Institute in 2021 and has been enjoying life in veterinary medicine ever since. She loves the variety each day brings, from wellness visits and emergencies to assisting with surgeries. She joined the Hometown team in March 2025 and is passionate about helping animals while supporting their owners through every stage of care. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, riding side-by-sides, and catching up with friends.
DIANE
Diane graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School and currently resides in Jonesburg. She brings over 35 years of customer service experience and enjoys working in a veterinary clinic environment. Diane loves seeing the variety of dog and cat breeds that come through the office and being part of her hometown veterinary team. She joined the team in April 2025 and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
MYRANDA
Myranda has been working in veterinary medicine for 10 years and has been a valued part of our team since January 2024. She is passionate about helping pets and enjoys the teamwork and relationships that come with veterinary medicine. Outside of work, Myranda enjoys spending time with her husband of 13 years and their two children, one boy and one girl. In her free time, she loves four-wheeling, playing board games, reading, and making memories with friends and family.
MASIE
Masie graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 2017 and continues to call the area home. She began working in veterinary medicine in 2021 and joined the HVC family in early 2024. Outside of work, Masie enjoys spending time outdoors and being around animals. She has a full house at home with four dogs — Ellie, Hadley, Paris, and Java — along with three cats: Ava, Fluffy, and Dunkin.
OLIVIA
Olivia graduated from Warren County R-III High School in 2023 and continues to live in the area. She has been a part of our team since October 2025 and loves that no two days in veterinary medicine are ever the same.
Outside of the clinic, Olivia enjoys spending time with her dogs and family, relaxing at the river, and gardening.
